Well-conducted surveys will provide information on the vessels condition and value, but are not guarantees. This Report of Survey relates the condition of accessible areas only as they existed at time inspection. Marine surveys are performed for a number of reasons and the procedures for each varies to best suit your needs for the safety of your crew and guests. APPRAISAL INSPECTION This inspection is performed to gather information to justify or determine the fair market value of the vessel. This is normally needed for financing, estate settlements, donations and legal cases. Findings; Findings are usually indicative of a discrepancy that currently exists or a condition that may lead to a failure of a system, an individual component and or materials used on the vessel during or after construction or refit. Recommendations; Recommendations are specific to the above findings. Action recommended so as to prevent existing or eventual failure of a system, an individual component and or materials used on the vessel during or after construction or refit.
